Dr. Trent Langhofer is our Executive Director. Trent married a woman out of his league, Kearstin, and they have been married nine years. Trent is the proud father of three children, Adrian (7), Kyra (5) and Judah (3). Trent specializes in treating addiction and trauma in the context of marital therapy through a Christ-centered, integrated clinical apprach. He maintains a private practice at the Christian Counseling Center here in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Dr. Trent, or Dr. T as he is known to his clients and colleagues, is a sought after conference speaker and teacher. He has lectured nationally and internationally for audiences of over 3000. He is on staff at WFR church as a teaching minister and keeps a regular preaching and teaching schedule at the church. Dr. Trent has led couples retreats and marriage retreats throughout the southern and midwestern united states.
In addition to being a psychotherapist, Dr. Trent is an avid student of God's word. Two of his favorite verses of scripture are John 11:25-26, "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies: 26) and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?'" These verses of scripture are so meaningful to Trent because at one time in his life he seemed beyond help - and felt dead! But God saved him from a life of drugs and sin and restored him. Jesus literally brought him back to life and saved him from sin and drug addiction!
Dr. Trent's therapeutic approach generally involves three components. He seeks to understand how the family of origin and formative year experiences of clients have programmed their thinking. Next, he attempts to facilitate clients own understanding of how they have been led to think and act in ways based on this programming. Finally, he offers Christ-Centered, integrated clinical interventions to help clients transform from the inside out. With compassion and understanding, Dr. T works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Christa Martin is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor and a recent graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Christa is a wife of a police officer/Marine Veteran and mother of two beautiful daughters. She was born and raised in West Monroe, LA and has a passion for helping the community and church she grew up in by seeing individuals, couples, and families at the Christian Counseling Center of West Monroe. She also coordinates Financial Peace University by Dave Ramsey and provides personal financial counseling for those struggling financially or those who desire to develop a Biblically based financial plan.
Christa's favorite Bible verse is "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matt. 11:28) This verse is meaningful to Christa because it provided hope to her during a time of struggling with a chronic physical illness. This has allowed Christa to develop empathy and compassion for those whose pain and struggles may not be visible from the outside, but felt significantly within.
Christa's therapeutic approach involves exploring patterns of thoughts and actions in order to better understand the origin of a client's problems, and using a Christ-center approach to develop goals, solutions, and change.

Counseling with Jordan Harris' is guided by trust; trust between you and he, between you and God, and between you and yourself. With this trust as the bedrock you can relax into the therapeutic process and begin to discover strengths, gifts, and skills that had gotten lost along the way. Often times people come to therapy after trying many different things to deal with anxiety, depression, a traumatic past, or relationship problems. After you've rediscovered your gifts and strengths and begin to apply them to your struggle all sorts of changes begin to open up. These changes lead to new hope that things can get better.
Jordan Harris has worked on this approach over the past five years. Not only has he worked one on one with clients in therapy offices, but he's also works with families in their homes and has worked with groups in residential treatment. During this time he's also become a professional counselor and marriage and family therapist.
Additionally, Jordan is a man of faith and family. He attends and is active at his local church where he works in various capacities alongside his cunning, wise, and beautiful wife Laura.
